Aloo Tikki Chaat

Ingredients

1 bag Protein Crumbles

1 bag Adda Veggie Indian Masala Blend

4 lbs Sweet Potato, cubed

1.25 cups Cooking Oil

3 cups Vegan Yogurt

2 Tbsp Date Syrup

0.75 lbs Red Onion, diced

1/2 cup Cilantro, chopped

1 cup Pomegranate Seeds

1/2 cup Cilantro Chutney

Instructions

  1. Steam cubed sweet potato for 10-15 minutes in a steam tray over boiling water.

  2. Prepare full package of Adda Veggie by soaking Protein Crumbles in 2 cups of water for 5 minutes, stirring halfway. Then stir in Indian Masala Blend Adda Mix.

  3. Add steamed sweet potato to prepared Adda Veggie. Press mixture firmly into 2-inch patties. This should make approximately 96 patties of 2 level tablespoons each.

  4. Heat oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, fry patties until browned and crispy, around 2 minutes per side.

  5. Assemble dish. For each serving, dress 4 patties with 2 Tbsp vegan yogurt, 1 tsp cilantro chutney and 3 Tbsp diced red onion. Then drizzle with date syrup and garnish with a handful of chopped cilantro and a handful of pomegranate seeds.
